India, May 26: CBSE results are out yesterday where a Delhi girl M. Gayatri topped class 12 class board exams with 496 marks out of 500 counting to 99.20%.
And the third rank has been shared by Poonam Kumari from Mohindergarh (Haryana), Gurwinder Singh Saini from Jalandhar and N Nishok Kumar from Chennai. These three students secured 494 out of 500 marks.
If we take everything into consideration, overall pass percentage of 2015 is 82.00 whereas pass percentage of girls is 87.55 and boys is 77.77. Thiruvananthapuram scored highest overall pass percentage, 95.41 as per regions are considered.
Officials from CBSE stated that 13,284 students from foreign countries had also appeared this CBSE 12th class board examination. These students counted for a pass percentage of 92.31. All candidates who appeared the examination can check their results if not did till now at cbseresults.nic.in.
All the aspirants who already checked their result need to wait for merit list that will be uploaded by official websites cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. It is stated that a total of 10,40,368 appeared for the CBSE exam in which 6,07,383 are boys and 4,32,985 are girls.
