Telugu warriors became the new Champions after beating Chennai Rhinos by 7 wickets in the 2015 Celebrity Cricket League edition. The brilliant performance of Telugu Warriors in all Categories made them winners of the CCL 2015 that took place in Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium Hyderabad. The brilliant character shown by Sachiin Joshi, Sudhir Babu and Akhil in batting made Telugu Warriors made their chances to win their Maiden Title after the decent performance of Bowlers which restricted Chennai Rhinos to a score of mere 132 runs.

Both teams, Telugu Warriors and Chennai Rhinos were unbeatable before they appear in Grand Finale. The journey of both teams started with comfortable wins with every opponent they faced. Right from the Toss everything was in the favor of Telugu Warriors in CCL 2015 finals. After winning toss Chennai Rhinos invited to batting by Telugu Warriors.

Coming to match details, Chennai Rhinos who came to bat first failed to put enough runs on the score board. The line and length of Telugu Warriors especially Raghu and Adarsh made Chennai Rhinos difficult to score runs. Prithivi is the leading run scorer for Chennai who made 31 runs from 25 balls with strike rate of 124 including 4 boundaries. Pick of the bowlers from Telugu Warriors are Adarsh and Raghu who came up with a pretty good performance with the bowl. They somehow reached a decent total of 132 runs with the help of prithivi and Jiiva in the end of the innings.

In reply to the Chennai’s target of 133, Telugu Warriors Openers Sachiin Joshi and Prince came up with a solid opening partnership of 50 runs in just 5.5 overs. Though the openers got out in a span of 5 runs, Sudhir Babu and Akhil continued their journey to seal the Maiden title for Telugu Warriors.
