One of the news hitting events is going to take place as China’s Foreign minister, Wang Yi is Visiting Washington on Tuesday for the bi-lateral talks. The visit gained importance because of the recent developments over the issue of military deployment by China in the South China Sea. China has deployed Surface-to-Air missiles in the Paracels Island.

Wang did not answer straightly when questioned about the dispute in the sea. Earlier, Vietnam complained against China’s missile deployment in the United Nation (UN). Vietnam also issued Diplomatic notes to the Embassy of china in Hanoi.

Though China claims full control over the South China Sea including the Islands, there are objections and opposition from the countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Brunei, Philippines that claim their freedom and share of right over the sea area.

In support of those countries, the U.S president, Mr.Barack Obama has issued a statement urging China to maintain peace and harmony in the region. China has responded sharply to Obama’s statement by stating that U.S has no role to play in this issue and it is trying to play a double standard strategy. China’s Foreign Minister also made U.S responsible for the prevailing tensions as the Super Power is patrolling and having the area surveillance with its ships and aircraft.

China also made a controversial statement regarding the occupied Islands. It is setting up the power grid management stations in those Islands and stated that those stations will manage power supplies to other islands remotely.

It will be interesting to watch the discussions that are scheduled between Wang the U.S Foreign Secretary, Mr.John Kerry. China has declared that it is going to support North Korea’s Nuclear and rocket launch program and opposes the U.S step of deploying the Missile defense system against North Korea.
