CLAT 2016 registrations start from January 1, 2016. Aspirants who wish to take admission in 17 National Law Universities can take this chance by applying.
The CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2016 is going to be conducted on May 8, 2016. The registrations for the same will starts from January 1, 2016. The CLAT 2016 is organized for taking admissions to 17 National Law Universities. Interested candidates can apply for the admission test before closing date.
As per CLAT 2016 Notification, the candidates who wish to take admission in UG Programs must complete their 12 Standard or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% aggregate marks as prescribed by the participating universities.
The candidates who wish to take admission into PG Programs must have completed LL.B or 5 years integrated LLB degree or its equivalent degree with not less than 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university as prescribed by the participating universities.
Candidates who qualify in CLAT will be eligible to obtain admission in any of the following courses offered by 16 National Law Universities.
- B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
- B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.)
- B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
- B.S.W. LL.B. (Hons.)
- B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.)
- L.L.M.
Selection Process
The selection would be based on the score in CLAT 2016 in the merit list and the choice take by the candidates and availability of seat in the desired university.
