Hyderabad: Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao ordered to announce the notification for District Selection Committee (DSC) examination on Thursday for recruiting 15,000 to 20,000 govt teachers in Telangana.
He is also decided to regularise all the contract employee services and increase the salaries of outsourced employees. Mr Rao has proclaimed at a meeting on the eve of New Year that few other initiatives will be expected to benefit to 50, 000 people.
Ministers Kadiyam Srihari, Eatala Rajender and C. Laxma Reddy, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and Director General of Police Anurag Sharma have attended the meeting.
As per the release, Mr. Rao spoke to the heads of all departments for submitting contract employee details who are working in their units for regularisation of services before the Cabinet meeting on January 2. The Cabinet will discuss and ratify the proposals and formalities for publishing the DSC notification, contract employee’s regularisation services of and salaries of outsourcing employees will be finished by January-end.
The government will be planning to abolish the contract system in future after regularising them, the release added Mr Rao.
