COMEDK PGET 2016 Exam Dates is on January 17, 2016. The examination is conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). The online registration for the same started on November 10.
The COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) PGET (Postgraduate Medical Entrance Exam) is a national level Exam which is conducted annually for admission to as many as 600 MD/MS/Diploma/MDS seats in 12 Medical and 19 Dental Colleges of Karnataka. Interested candidates can register for the exam online on or before January 2, 2016.
To apply for this admission test, the minimum eligibility criteria are prescribed. The candidates must have successfully passed their MBBS / BDS from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI. Candidates should also have completed or will be completing their internship by April 30, 2016 at the latest. Permanent registration with MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental Council is required.
It is important to know COMEDK PGET 2016 Paper pattern. The exam will be conducted a paper and pen based test. The syllabus is based on the MBBS /BDS syllabus prescribed by the MCI and DCI. Candidate should note that the test will be conducted separately for both Dental and Medical. The duration of the exam will be three hours. There will be a separate test for PG medical and PG dental courses. Each paper will comprise of 180 questions, which will be of MCQ type. Each answer carries one mark and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
The COMEDK PGET Hall Ticket is known as the online TAT (Test Admission Ticket). The online TAT will be available at the official website. For all applied candidates their admit card will be sent.
