India: Central Seat Allocation Board, CSAB has announced revised counselling schedule for a special round of admissions to fill up around 3000 vacant seats in NITs, IITs & GFTIs.
Central Seat Allocation Board, CSAB is going to conduct counselling process for vacant seats at the prestigious institutes after the fourth round of counselling under JOSAA. CSAB is conducted the counselling process for these vacant vacancies as a special round admission process. According to information more than 5500 seats are vacant special round of CSAB counselling.
CSAB has started the special round counselling process from 9th August, 2015 now, it has extended the counselling dates for special round admission process. Earlier it counselling process was scheduled from 9th to 11th August now it has been extended up to 17th August, 2015 till 5:00 pm. After successfully completion of admission process CSAB will announce the seat allotment results on 18th August.
As per revised schedule candidates who participated in special round admission process should pay the payment of commitment fee Rs 45,000 or Rs 20,000 as per category of the candidates through State Bank of India by e-challan up to 17th August till 5:00 pm. Then candidates can give choices through online till midnight of 17th August.
After completion of counselling process, CSAB will announce the special round seat allotment results on 18th August. Candidates who secured with seat at this round can directly report to the allotted institutes with original and photo copies of certificates for verification from 18th to 26th August. Candidates who have proper documents as pet institute norms, only allowed for verification process.

Publishing of seat allotment results: 18th August, 2015
