SHE Teams Introduces Method to Study Eve-Teasers Psyche

Hyderabad: Cyberabad SHE teams introduced a new Q&A method to understand the inner self of an eve-teaser and study them thoroughly to reduce crime rate.

Cyberabad SHE team has adopted new scientific method to study the root cause of the threat of eve-teasing, the team introduced a new Q&A method to understand the mind of an eve-teaser. The new method includes various questions ranging from a person’s family background which are the reasons to his wish to commit a crime against women.

The studied data about an eve-teaser is handed over to a group of trained professional counsellors who can make them realize about their crimes and professionals can educate them about the impact of having a criminal record.

The main aim to introduce new scientific method is to address about all factors which are the reasons to criminality in the present society and to get rid from that type of crime with the involvement of family of offenders. This gives them an opportunity to realize about their misconducts and values.

Counselling for an eve-teaser along with family will be conducted for every Saturday in Crime against women (CAW) cell which is located in CP Cyberabad Office, Gachibowli. This total session will be monitored by SHE teams in-charge, DCP, Malkajigiri, Rama Rajeshwari.

Counsellor’s team is also shown the videos depicting to accused and EAR (examine, Accept, Reject thought) to explain them about the difference between pleasure and happiness. Case studies are also shown to them regarding women victims. The SHE team also show them short films on the victims of violence, made to understand the prime goals of criminal lives. The criminals are also asked the specific reasons to public harassment of women.

SHE team in-charge Rama Rajeshwari said that , these counselling sessions gives good results and most of the criminals are feeling guilty for their acts and promised to cops that they will not repeat the crime ever.
