Datsun Redi-Go car will be soon launched in India on June 7th with the starting price of Rs.2.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom price, Delhi).
The Japanese Automobile manufacturer Datsun has launched a new model of small cars. The Datsun Red- Go car price is not revealed till date. But there is an expectation among the industry that the car may be tagged with the price in between Rs. 2.39 lakhs to Rs. 3.50 lakhs. The base model will be much cheaper when compared to the existing small cars on the Indian roads. The competitors like Maruti, Renault and Hyundai are lagging behind the price that may compete with the new Datsun small car.
The Datsun Redi-Go car is cheaper than the Renault Kwid with the price margin of Rs.23,000/-, Maruti Suzuki’s Alto 800 by Rs.20,000/- all based on ex-showroom Delhi. The Datsun official website already mentioned the basic variant price as Rs. 2.39 lakhs. The 799 cc engine which is developed by the Renault is fitted to the Datsun Redi-Go. As per the company, the fuel efficiency is high for the car as the engine is made of Aluminium with compact construction model. Approximately 25.17 kmpl is expected by the company.
The Datsun Redi-Go engine with 800cc makes 54 PS of power at 5,678 rpm and generates 72 Nm of torque at 4,386 rpm. It comes as a 5-speed manual transmission vehicle.
