Delhi: Delhi Development Authority, DDA officials have launched four mobile apps to get feedback and for better maintenance, to address public complaints.
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched four mobile apps to get feedback. These four mobile apps are helpful to know better maintenance of its facilities and to address public complaints. Among four apps, one is used for observing infrastructure projects like Housing and all other apps are related to maintenance of community halls, housing complexes, sports and golf facilities.
Officials from DDA say, the feedback apps will help in improving the facilities at housing complexes and sports facilities. DDA Vice-Chairman Arun Goel had announced on September 3 that the housing authorities were working on these applications.
Through the first app, on giving application number, full details of the applicant will appear and then the parameters under two heads – construction and maintenance can be accessed.
“Under ‘construction’ feedback, parameters such as seepage, condition of doors, windows, water supply, condition of sanitary, facade of the building, lifts etc. can be given; whereas under ‘maintenance’ head feedback on parameters like grit wash, roof condition etc., can be given,” a senior DDA official said.
The apps are available for download on the official DDA website. Besides, people can register their grievance online as well, as the housing authority has provided web links for the same on the website as well.
The second mobile app allows people to give feedback about the quality of services being offered by DDA in its community halls, the DDA said. DDA has about 100 community halls under its jurisdiction in various localities. The third application allows feedback on sporting facilities under the urban body.
