Mumbai: Bollywood leading actress Deepika Padukone hiked her endorsement fee by Rs 2 crore to continue as the brand ambassador of a leading private sector bank which had signed last year.
If any of celebrity films are doing well, then their demand will be increased in film industry and the ad world too. Recently Bollywood leading actress Depika Padukone has increased her endorsement fee by Rs. 2 crore.
As per information Piku actress has signed as a brand ambassador for a private sector bank last year, recently the contracted was extended by 18 months, for this she demanded Rs 5.5 crore, with a hike about Rs. 2 crore.
The sources added that the actress has hiked endorsement fee due to her on-screen success “Therefore, an increase in her endorsement fee is well justified”
Another sources added that “Yes, she has renewed her contract with the bank, but as far as the money part is concerned, we are not keen to get into the details. An annual hike in fee is standard procedure for all stars and it’s got nothing to do with her recent success at the box office.”
However Deepika’s spokesperson said that “She has never commented on numbers and would refrain from doing so even now”
The actress is now busy with shooting for upcoming romantic movie Tamasha opposite to Ranbir Kapoor and another movie Bajirao Mastani directed by Sanjay Leela Bansali features Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.
