Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal from Delhi government is planning to implement Higher Education Loan Scheme from September 8 for next academic year, 2016-17.
A head of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) polls, the Deputy CM Manish Sisodia today announced that, “AAP Government will start its Higher Education Loan Scheme on September 8. This is very useful for poor students and he also spoke that, first cheque, under the higher education loan scheme without a guarantee will be handed over the beneficiary on September 8.
Under this scheme, any student would get a loan upto 6 lakhs from the Delhi Govt without guarantee. The DU rocks Programme was held at Delhi yesterday and by addressing to the event, Sisodia told that, “We will start higher education scheme by giving first cheque on September 8. If you face any problem we will pay your fees”.
The evet was held in grand manner at Talkatora stadium in Delhi and hundreds of DU students graced the event. Famous Bollywood stars including CM Arvind Kejriwal also attended for the Programme.
Addressing the students, Transport Minister Gopal Rai asked them to repeat the directive of Delhi Assembly polls at DUSU elections and defeat money and muscle power. Crowd present at the stadium indented to foot stomping popular number and gave a rousing reception to AAP Ministers.
Ankush from Shyam Lal College said, “I am here to see Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Moreover, it is a great opportunity to enjoy so many Bollywood singers under the same roof”.
