Delhi Metro: Jahangirpuri – Samaypur Badli Extension Opens Today

Delhi: CM Aravind Kejriwal along with M Venkaiah Naidu today inaugurated the Delhi metro Jahangirpuri – Samaypur Badli extension nearly 4.373 KM length.

CM Aravind Kejriwal and M Venkaiah Naidu who is the Union urban development minister are going to launch two infrastructure projects and Jahangir Puri – Samaypur Badi metro in the capital. It is good news good news for Delhi people before Diwali.

It is known to all that Jahangirpuri – Samaypur Badli section is an extended to Gurgaon line of Delhi metro. It was done after flagging off the 4 km of that section, they six-lane elevated Azadpur Prembari Pul road on Tuesday will be inaugurated by them.

PWD minister Satyendra Jain said that elevated road will help decongest traffic and officials of PWD were directed by him to finish this road within 31st Oct. Approximately Rs. 247 Cr was approved for this project and already foundation stone of it was laid on 7th June 2013.

PWD has been directed by the Delhi government that fulfil the Vikaspuri Wazirabad elevated road by the end of this year. Jahangirpuri – Samaypur Badli section inauguration will be conducted at Metro Bhawan.

“commercial services for public will be started from 2 pm on Tuesday and the first ceremonial train will be started from Samapur Badli” added by DMRC spokesperson. Nearly 4.373 kms is the length of this corridor.

There will be three stations Rohini sector 18, Haiderpur and Samaypur  Badli. GT Karnal road, Rohini, Transport Nagar, Jahangirpuri and Badli will be profit from this line. With the addition of it yellow line run from HUDA city centre to Samaypur Badi which will be 49 km long.
