Delhi University Second Cut-Off List Released | Admission Continues

New Delhi, June 30: Delhi University second cut-off list announced today for UG courses admission 2015 academic sessions and announced a dip up to 4 percentages compared to first list.

Delhi University on Monday night has declared second cut-off list for undergraduate admissions in to most popular courses. University has announced second cut off list with an incline up to one percent in arts and commerce courses and up to three percent in science courses compared to first list, to give a hope students who were failed in securing a seat in the first list.

Cut off for various courses have dropped by more than one percentage point in many colleges. As per second cut off list admission for most popular courses such as Economics (Honours), English (H) and BCom (H) and science subjects, is still open at various top colleges. Some of the colleges have dropped only 0.5 percentage and many of colleges dropped as much as 5 points for certain courses and some other colleges chosen same cut off as per first list.

According to second cut off list, admission into most popular course Bcom (Honours) is still open at various top colleges including Gargi, Hansraj, Hindu, IP, Lady Sri Ram, Ramjas, SGTB Khalsa and Sri Venkateswara and even BCom (Programme) admissions remain open at top colleges such as Daulat Ram, Gargi, Ramjas, SGTB Khalsa and Sri Venkateswara.

As per the demand, admission into Economics and English still available at Daulat Ram, Hansraj, Hindu, IP, Kirori Mal, Lady Sri Ram and Ramjas and one of the most popular subject history admissions are open at Hansraj, Hindu, IP, KMC, LSR.

One of the top colleges in national capital, Hindu has reduced its percentage by 0.5 in second cut off in most popular courses including Economics, English and History and reduced 1.5 points for BS programme, 3 points for BS Philosophy. Whereas Kamala Nehru has announced cut off for English (H) as 93.5, but it was 97 percent in first list. Top colleges and other colleges of Delhi has dropped cut off drastically for courses like Hindi and Sanskrit.
