Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is Sushant’s upcoming Indian crime thriller which was directed by Dibakar Benerjee under the Yash Raj Films production. In this film, Sushant is playing in Byomkesh Bakshy’s role. At first, the assistant fashion designer, Divya Menon was chosen to have her debut as Bakshy’s wife. Later, Rani Mukherji was selected to do this. But she refused to accept the role, because of some bold scenes that she can’t prefer are there to do in the film. Then the Bengali actress, Swastika Mukherjee was selected to the role.
This fictional character of Bakshy was created by the Bengali writer, Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Besides Sushant and Swastika, Anand Tiwari will also see as a main character in the movie. In very early stage, the movie trailer became very popular. It even got 201,049 hits and 2,328 likes on YouTube. The film was scheduled to release on April 3rd of this year, 2015.
