Bangladesh: Dhaka University undergraduate admission process starts from August 24 as said earlier, candidates to apply online or know more details need to go for www.du.ac.bd.
Dhaka University undergraduate admission process will be started very shortly from 24th August 2015. Application process and forms for admissions into various undergraduate courses are available on main website, www.du.ac.bd.
Sourcess from officials cleared that application process for academic year 2015-16 will be started from 24th August whereas admissions will be started on 9th October 2015. Candidates those who want to get admissions in UG course in Dhaka University can download and submit application forms before 10th September.
The decision was taken by the General Admission Committee at a meeting held on Wednesday at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury senate building regarding the dates. Admissions for Kha Unit (Arts faculty) would be held on 9th October, general knowledge section of Cha Unit on October 10th, Ga unit (Commerce) in 16th October, Painting section of Cha unit on 17th October etc.
Students those who want to get admission in Ka unit must have an aggregate GPA score of at least 8, which would include fourth subject, in SSC and HSC. Students from humanities group would have GPA 7 to get admissions in Gha unit and students from science group should have GPA 8 and students from commerce group should have GPA 7.5.
Candidates those who have GPA below 3 are not eligible to apply for admissions in DU. The application fee for admission test including bank charges has been fixed Tk 350 this year.
