Chennai: Kollywood fame, actor cum producer Dhanush is a brand ambassador for Indian Super League, ISL, a professional football league in India for which Season 2 will be started from October 3.
Indian Super League (ISL) is a professional football league in India. Eight franchise teams fight against each other to get championship. The inaugural season started last year by 12th October and the current champions are ‘Atlético de Kolkata’ team.
Now Season 2 is all set to start from October 3rd. This time it’s going to be bigger and better. The season will end on 20th of December. And this season is even more special as Tamil actor Dhanush was roped in as the brand ambassador.
It has to be noted that Dhanush has just acted two movies in Bollywood and he himself has established as a lead actor. Dhanush on being a brand ambassador for Indian Super League seems elated. He spoke to media and said,
“The inaugural season of the Hero Indian Super League revolutionized Indian football and brought quality football action for millions of fans across the country. The league promises to be more competitive and captivating in this season. I myself was a football fan and as a football fan, I am excited to be a part of the league. The competition is getting bigger. Watch out for the matches.”
