Chennai: Kollywood director Karu Pazhaniappan is seen now in film industry after the Tamil movie ‘Jannal Oram’ making in 2013.

Karu Pazhaniappan started his career as a director in 2003 with the movie ‘Parthiban Kanavu’. Later he directed Vishal for ‘Sivappathigaaram’ which was also a hit at the Box-office. With two successive hits, he became a lead director at Kollywood.

‘Sathurangam’, ‘Pirivom Santhipom’ were some of his other projects which fetched him good name. Later in 2010 he stepped into shoes of being an actor. He directed and acted in the movie ‘Mandhira Punnagai’. He was last seen in 2013 as a director in the movie ‘Jannal Oram’.

Now after a brief hiatus the director is back. But this time he is back just as an actor. He is doing the male lead role in the movie titled ‘Kallan’. Debutante director Chandra directs the project. This is a rural subject and the entire shooting of the movie has been completed in just one schedule

From bankable sources we hear that the schedule lasted for a span of 45 days. The shooting took place in outskirts of Theni and Kambam. Inside sources revealed that Karu Pazhaniappan was seen in a new getup with thick beard and mustache. As this project was wrapped up,  Karu Palaniappan himself will act and direct in a movie titled ‘Gramaphone’. The project will go on floors soon.
