Chennai: Vijay and Shruti Haasan starrer Puli movie was a complete disaster. Due to losses, film distributors are now planning for compensation from Vijay and production team.

‘Puli’ featuring Vijay and Shruti Haasan in lead roles released on 1st of October. The movie also marked come back of Sri Devi after 27 years. Devi Sri Prasad composed music and Chimbudeven directed it. Puli faced downhill right from the time of teaser release.

It never had a good run right from Day one. The Box-Office reports were so poor and already most of the screens removed it and replaced with ‘Rudhramadevi’. Now with Dussera releases things get even worse for ‘Puli’

As it never even got back the investments, we hear from sources that distributors are planning to ask compensation from Vijay. Failing to provide compensation they also planned to issue a red card against him.

Trade analysts already confirmed that the movie has suffered losses of Rs.10 Crores and now it is a matter of question whether compensation will be made or not. So far both Vijay and production house kept muted response in this regard.
