Doctors on Mass Leave, Two Patients Died

Jamshedpur: It is very tragedy thing that today two patients died in Palamau district allegedly because of medical treatment lack, all doctors entire state has taken mass leave for that day.

The thing is, all medicos were on leave because Jharkhand government recently taken a decision that they bring the education and healthcare under scope of gram Panchayat. To tell protest on this decision symbolically medicos have taken this leave.

Actually, this incident has been happened at Sadar Hospital, Medininagar in Palamau district 35-year-old Manish Pal and Laxman Ram (25) have been joined in this hospital. In those persons, Manish Pal has been suffering from malaria and Laxman injured in road accident and their conditions were very serious at that time. Finally they died but at the time of taking admission their conditions were very serious.

However, two patients died, the family of members of those dead persons claimed that these deaths occurred only because of lack of medical treatment.

K Srinivasan who is Deputy Commissioner of Palamau said that they will take serious charge and assured to look into it. Here, total nearly 1, 800 doctors taken mass leave due to the cabinet decision, they are demanding the cabinet that cabinet should take back their decision immediately.

Last month doctors sat in front of Raj Bhawan in Ranchi to protest government decision with banner of JSHSA i.e. Jharkhand State Health Services Association by the support of Indian Medical Assosciation.
