Dravidian University MPhil PhD Program 2015-16 Applications Started

Dravidian University MPhil PhD Program 2015-16 – Dravidian University, Kuppam invited applications for admission to full time and part time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs.

Applications are invited by Dravidian University, Kuppam for admission to full time and part time M.Phil and Ph.D programs offered in English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Philosophy, Comparative Dravidian Literature, Tulu, Linguistics, Folklore, History, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Education, Physical Education, Chemistry, Library and Information Science and Management for the session 2015-16. All candidates those who are interested in this programs have to check the below given eligibility details and application submission details with dates.

Eligibility criteria as per university guidelines as follows:

An applicant must have master’s degree from Dravidian University or recognized as equivalent. The percentage required is minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) marks in the concerned subject.

An applicant has to qualify in the (DURCET) entrance test conducted by Dravidian University

Those who have qualified in GATE/UGC NET/ SLET/ UGC-RGNF/CSIR INSPIRE holders/ any SET of southern states examination are exempted from DURCET-2015.

Candidates can download the application form by using the university official website. Applications and prospectus can also be obtained from the Office of the Dean, Academic Affairs, Dravidian University, Kuppam-517 426. DD for Rs.500/- (Rs.400/- for SC/ST/PHC) in person.

Selection of candidates is based on the rank obtained in Dravidian University Research Common Entrance Test (DURCET-2015) conducted by the institute or national level test (GATE/UGC-JRF/UGC-CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET) and State Level Eligibility Test (SLET).
