16 June: Facebook launches new Moments app to sharing private photos with friends in an easy way in iOS and Android mobile devices.
The most popular and using social networking site Facebook comes with one more new app i.e. Moments. This app will help the user to make sharing private photos easier with facial recognition technology. Moments is a single private place to give our photos to friends in an easy way and to get photos from them.
This standalone app, will allow the users to share together photos of user and their friends who are in them and to get pictures of them. It allows the users to create groups that sync photos to friends.
Moments app will group the photos of user phone based on when they were taken and then by using facial recognition technology, user can easily and swiftly share photos privately with friends who are in them and they can select to sync their pictures with user as well. Finally with this app user and their friends will have all the photos they took together.
Moments app is using the facial technology similar to the tagging option in Facebook to share photos with friends who are in those pictures. As per norms syncing photos with the Moment app is a private way to share pictures with friends.
