Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Akhilesh Tripathi has been arrested by Delhi police and sent to Tihar jail
AAP MLA Akhilesh Tripathi has been sent Tihar Jail by the Delhi court from Model Town for custody after he repeatedly called for attending the court orders for an appearance in a case filed in 2013. During 2013, rioting, he was excited and criminal threats by the Delhi Police on a complaint.
Metropolitan Magistrate Kapil Kumar ordered the police that they take official into custody then so that he attends regularly with more secure and the case also be solved rapidly as per the Supreme court way.
The court was declared arrest warrant against the MLA on 23rd Nov 2015 for not attending to the court before in the case and also issued an NBW upon him on 9th Oct 2015.
Magistrate said that they have given many warnings to Tripathi not sent any exemptions and to attend on time, but his behavior made that these warnings of the court were not effected on him.
