London: Scientists in a research on fish, declared that fishes also have an emotions, consciousness, small increase in body temperature.
Scientists carried out research on fish and tell that fishes may have an emotional fever a small increase in body temperature at the time of stress situations linked to the consciousness and feelings. After completion of the research on fish, the scientists are decided to tell that the fish showing this kind of signals.
The university of Barcelona in Spain and Stirling and Bristol Universities in UK researchers have observed an increasing the temperature of the zebrafish body in two and four degrees during stressful conditions, and called this phenomenon is ‘emotional fever’.
This kind of fever is related to animal feel in tough situations, till now this ‘emotional fever’ has been observed in birds, mammals and certain reptiles but never in fish. This is the first time observation in fishes.
Researchers have divided zebrafish of 72 into two groups and each group having 36 fishes. After completion of the dividing process, all fishes were placed in a large Tank which was interconnected sections. In those compartments, a temperature was from 18 to 35 degrees Celsius.
Researchers left control group fishes were left in the undisturbed area which was the temperature level increased up to 28 degree Celsius by them. Another group were in stressful situations and the find that the temperature of those areas tanks at 27 degree Celsius for 15 minutes, after that the group was released.
