The story of Fitoor has been written by Abhishek Kapoor, Supratik Sen and Charles Dickes based on Great Expectations novel of Charles Dickens. The story follows the young Kashmir boy named Noor (Aditya Roy Kapur), his muse Firdaus (Katrina Kaif) and a mercurial Begum (Tabu).
Thirteen years old boy Noor an impressionable Shikara boy was living by the piers of Kashmir’s Dal Lake. He was attracted by the Begum who was the wealthiest woman in town world and Noor falls in love with Begum’s daughter Firdaus. Firdaus is a beautiful child who has been raised to break hearts but she suffering from a broken heart herself.
The Begum finds that Noor has loved Firdaus and he start to obsess over Firdaus. Seasons has been changed Noor went to live in his hometown i.e. Delhi for building his career as an artist. Begaum plots retributions on their young and innocent love and finally what will happen, the rest of the story.
The movie has been directed well and in all elements such as music, cinematography, editing and locations the movie made wonderfully. Kashmir locations are seeing mind blowing and Katrina sacked the hearts of the audience with her gorgeous beauty.
