The veteran, SVSC movie writer, Ganesh Patro died of cancer at a hospital in Chennai this morning. He was there for treatment and breathed his last on Monday, Jan 5th.
Renowned telugu movie writer, Ganesh Patro passed away on this Monday morning. He was in the treatment of cancer in a private hospital in Chennai and had his last breath today.
He was born in Parvathipuram, AP, in the year of 1945. And started his career as a playwright for a movie. He ranked as a writer for a telugu drama, Athavarillu in 1976.
His dialogues and stories are like award winning. The films like Rudra Veena, Maro Charitra, Idi Kathakaadu, Mayuri, Seetaramayyagari Manavaralu fetched him many awards for which his reputation spread over the world.
Ganesh Patro worked for Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu telugu movie as one of the dialogue writers, which is a super hit.
Chiranjeevi told reporters, “It’s extremely sad that we’ve lost another member of our industry. Ganesh was a prolific writer and his dialogues for my film ‘Rudraveena’ will stay in my memory forever”, on the death of the writer.
BVS Ravi spoke, “Eminent writer n playwright Ganesh Patro passes away. His works will stand tall n live longer to guide many aspirants in the craft.”

It is pathetic to loose such a great writer for the film industry of Tollywood. It has been a big blow to the Telugu film industry from last few months to witness many film actors’ deaths. Many eminent personalities are on death bed past few years. No one can replace them. A salute to all the actors to serve the film industry for their life time.
