June 24: Google Undo Send Feature: Google has introduced undo send button in Gmail after a long period of time, which is used to cancel the sent mail if user have any second thoughts instantly after sending email.
Finally after six years of time Google launched ‘undo send’ feature for billions of people who send emails with mistakes. Since March 2009, the feature has been offered in Gmail s “Labs” area, but officially become a part of Gmail on 23rd June, Tuesday.
The new undo send feature is set it up under setting options, when you enable this feature, you are able to unsend an email up to 30 seconds after hitting the send button. You can choose the time in between five to 30 seconds to withdraw yours oops mails.
With this new feature Gmail just delays you sending mails, so that now you have more 30 seconds time to change your email.
How to use ‘undo send’ feature
Navigate setting menu in Gmail account, under the your profile picture, you will be given an option to “Enable Undo Send” along with a drop down to set a time in between five to 30 seconds.
Now you have a time up to 30 seconds to change your email if you have second thought.
