Goa Police Introduced Little Police for School Students

Instructing the policing values to the school students in a single way, Goa Police has started the scheme with a name of Little Police and it will be introduced all over the state from August 2015.

The Police Inspectors from various stations can visit the schools and teach children about various aspects of policing. Inspector general of Police Sunil Garg made a statement on reporters meeting on Wednesday, “Police Inspectors from several stations will interact with school children and motivate them regarding policing. Police cards will also issue to school students”.

The Inspector general of Police Sunil also said that the little Police scheme was proposed by Chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar during a recent interaction with the force. The parents will also be guided by the police on this scheme and under this initiative they also be trained on how to keep a close watch on their Children.

However Police Inspector general, Sunil said that by considering the increasing Dawn of Internet in Homes, “They will be alerted dealing with the weakness of the children towards cyber-crimes and narcotics”.
