Japan Noted Hiroshima Atomic Bombing 70th Anniversary

Japan: Thousands of people at Japan have offered their prayers on the mark of Hiroshima Atomic Bombing 70th Anniversary on Thursday and dozens of doves were released as a symbol of peace.

Japan marked the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on Thursday, more than 55,000 thousands people have offered their prayers at the peace park in the heart of Hiroshima near the epicentre of the 1945 attack. Officials and people have released dozens of doves as a symbol of peace.

The 70th anniversary ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, he addressed the people around 40,000 and added that, the atomic bomb was not only killed thousands of people in Hiroshima but also triggered terrible suffering to those who managed to survive.

According to the information the ceremony held at Hiroshima’s peace park near the epicentre of the 1945 attack, people across the Japan observed a minute’s silence at 08:15 in correspondence to the time when the US aircraft had dropped the bomb that crushed the city centre.

Mayor of Hiroshima, Kazumi Matsui renewing calls for U.S President Barak Obama and other world leaders to forward a step towards to make a world with free of nuclear weapons.

The U.S. bomb, “Little Boy” was the nuclear weapon which was used in war and it killed 1, 40,000 people, after three days a second bomb “Fat Man” had dropped at Nagasaki, killed 70,000.
