HITS Engineering Entrance Examination will be conducted in April/May 2016. HITSEEE for Chennai centres will be held from Saturday, April 30, 2016 to Wednesday, May 04, 2016. For all other centres, it will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 and Sunday, May 01, 2016.

Candidates who are seeking for admission into 4 years B.Tech programs and 5 years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs at the institute for the session 2016-17 can apply. The online applications are accepted from eligible people. Candidates can apply through online mode by visiting the institute website. Application form can also be purchased at the institute by paying Rs.1000/- in cash or by DD in favour of Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science payable at Chennai. Application fee is Rs. 925/- + bank charges.Send the duly filled application along with required certificates to the address as specified in the notification or else follow as per guidelines.

Aspirants who want to apply for B.Tech course must have passed 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & English) with Aggregate 50% marks. For B.Arch Program, candidates should have a pass in the plus two examinations with not less than 50% with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as one of the subjects.
