Honda Civic To be Relaunched In 2018

Honda India is planning to relaunch the D-Segment cars once again in India. The Honda Civic may be re-introduced in the year 2018.

In a plan to launch new models in India by the Japanese motors manufacturer the Honda Civic will be relaunched in a couple of years from now. The D-Segment car which was a hot selling model in the segment during the 1980’s was discontinued in the year 2013 due to its less demand.

The Honda Civic might not be comparable with the Honda City  Model. But it is likely to fulfil the D-segment in the coming days for the company.

The Indian automobiles market at presently consists of Toyota Corolla Altis, Hyundai Elantra, Volkswagen Jetta and Skoda Octavia in this segment. Though the four-wheeler companies do not find any significant demand for the segment, Honda India has its own plans to implement. Toyota has the largest share in the D-segment sales. and ruling the Indian market. While the others are enjoying decently good sales. Honda India now aims at these companies with the re-launch of Honda Civic Accord.

Honda in India presently makes its models Brio, Amaze, City, Mobilio, BR-V and CR-V run on Indian roads. Honda City has the highest sales for the company.
