Honda Unicorn 150cc Bikes are re-launched at Rs.69,305. Earlier the bikes were discontinued due to the introduction of Unicorn 160cc.
Auto Expo 2016 has witnessed the re-launch of the much popular bike in India, the Honda Unicorn 150cc. Earlier the bike sales were stopped because of the new models like Honda Unicorn 160cc and Honda CB Hornet 160cc bikes.
Honda Unicorn 150cc bike is very much popular in India and due to the craze and the demand, Honda India has taken the step of re-launching the same bike. No much redesigning or remodelling will take place for the new 2016 Honda CB Unicorn model bike. The Honda motors in two-wheelers occupy a commendable market share Indian automobile industry.
The same features and specifications will be retained by the 2016 Honda CB Unicorn. The bike is powered by a 149 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 13.14 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 12.84 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The bike comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
On the other hand, the company’s motorcycle sales have been double when compared to the scooter sales. Around 1,42,702 motorcycles were sold gaining a growth of 27 % more sales. Whereas around 2,65,439 units of scooters were sold resulting in 21 % growth.
Newly launched scooter model Navi sales also crossed 10,000 units. Honda India is having an overall growth in the Indian two-wheeler market with its successful models.
