Hyderabad Infrastructure Development Planned with INR 21,000 Crore Project

Hyderabad: Telangana govt planning for INR 21, 000 crore project in Hyderabad City to improve infrastructure in and around city for solving traffic problems leading to infrastructure development.

Telangana State government has been working seriously for state development, as a part of this state chief minister K. Chandra Shekar Rao has been inviting more projects which could help for state development.

On Wednesday night, CM KCR has addressed the national council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and said that, the state government has been preparing plans to improve the infrastructure in and around at state capital Hyderabad in order to decongest the city and to solve the traffic problem.

He said that, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had prepared plans on the lines of Dallas to construct multilevel flyover at important junctions of city. As per sources, the Canadian firm had already conducted study over infrastructure arrangements in and around the city and presented the report to state government. The Telangana government has also called the GHMC for the tenders of the first phase of the project.

Telangana government is also encouraging private sectors to participate in creating infrastructure required in Hyderabad. The state has a huge land bank and it would allocate the land to industries which have 3000 to 5,000 employees to build their own township in Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) area in arrange of 7,200 square km.
