Hyderabad, June 10: Nehru Zoological Park is going to hike fee for entry pass, safari and battery operated vehicles from June 12 and visitors have to cough up a few bucks more from now.

 Started for a one day picnic to Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad? Your budget may go slight higher for which fill your pockets with more money now. Official management team of Zoo said that they are going to hike entry pass, safari and battery operated vehicles from June 12 slightly. Now it is Rs. 20 and Rs. 10 for entry pass of adults and children. After update, it will be Rs. 30 and Rs. 15 from now onwards to the people who wanna see and have a holiday spot at zoo.

Safari ride tickets will be hiked from Rs. 30 to Rs. 40 for adults and Rs. 15 to Rs. 20 for children. The ticket cost of battery operated vehicle is said to be increased from Rs. 40 to Rs. 50 for adults and from Rs. 20 to Rs. 30 for children. Jogu Ramanna, Minister for Environment, Forests, Science and Technology who is also the chairman of Zoos and Parks Authority of Telangana said that this will be implemented fro June 12 onwards.

Gopi Ravi, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park said that this hike is done only to meet the expenditure involved in animal welfare, food and maintenance purpose.
