I Don’t Need Ladies to Watch My Movies – Director Mysskin

Chennai: At Tharkaapu movie audio launch, Director Mysskin spoke a few words about current days for movie creation and censor board conditions now-a-days.

Director P.Vasu’s son Shakti Vasudev and Samuthirakani has acted together in the movie ‘Tharkaapu’. The audio launch function took place today morning at Kamala Cinemas, Chennai. Mysskin who came to dias initially praised the team, actors and later started to lash out against censor board members and audience.

He said, “These days director lose their identity as censor board members interfere a lot and they decide the fate of movie. If a movie receives, ‘U/A’ or ‘A’ the movie has to pay 30% tax.  This is a huge blow to Producers these days. Due to this, we are not able to show our creativity.

When the bad guy uses profanity words or when we show violence they label us with ‘A’ certificate. How can we show the rage when two guys fight against each other? Will they make child beatings and slaps? I took a movie named ‘Pisasu’. My mother lied to me saying that ‘Pisasu’ is scary. But in real, I saw lots of ‘Pisasu’ in cinema industry. That is why I showed ‘Pisasu’ as a soft character.

These days everyone say, we can’t watch the movie with kids. This Cinema medium is not for Kids. It is for adults. So don’t take your kids to cinema halls. If you are going to watch with kids, then watch cartoons or watch ‘My dear Kutti chaathaan’. My next movie will be a Horror-Adult movie and I request ladies to not to come and watch the movie.”
