New Delhi: IIT-D comes under a dispute stage after inviting Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and an RSS member for for the execution of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan which is a part of HRD ministry scheme.

The decision of IIT Delhi for calling Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and an RSS partner to slow on a plan for development of rural areas has costed the IIT status and it is turned to be the highlight on Governments’ agenda and put the IIT Delhi again in Controversial stage.

Vijay Bhatkar, the chairperson of IIT Delhi Board of Governors arranged a meeting with Baba Ramdev and members of RSS Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram for the execution of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan in this year on the month of January. This meeting raised many issues and faced many controversies among the people for the connection of cows to address rural issues.

While the Union Minister Smriti Irani simply rejected the intellectual terrorism of Education and she held discussions with RSS affiliated persons on new educational policy during meeting and also discussed the engagements of candidates in various institutes and universities in India.

As a reason behind Baba Ramdev’s visit, mentioning a simple collaboration and professors have said that they have team up with over 100 agencies and spiritual gurus in a charge to work for development of rural areas.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is an HRD ministry scheme fixed by IIT Delhi, and pursues to build the technical strength of the IITs to help the rural India through technology involvement.
