Indian Army Made Online Registrations Mandatory for Recruitment

India: The officials of Army changed the enrollment system of candidates and made online registrations as compulsory for recruitment process.

The Indian Army has changed enrollment system of candidates. As per latest updates, it will recruit candidates via online and registrations are made mandatory for recruitment process. Aspirants will have to apply through official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and they need to appear for a common entrance exam (CEE) online based on the details on admit card.

Briadier Victor Rajamani, Deputy General (recruiting), Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Bangalore said in a conference that, Physical fitness test and measurement test would be held for only those candidates who pass the CEE at the Army Recruitment Office (ARO).

The changes were made due to Digital India initiative of the center to integrate government departments and the people.  The new system will be applied from April 1, 2016. By doing online recruitment process, the burden on administration will be reduced.

Rajamani said, everyone has a personal email identity and by this identity only basic verification will be done. At present it is mandatory for candidates to register online to attend the recruitment rally. The Bangalore recruitment zone is responsible for recruitment of candidates in Kerala, Karnataka and Union territories of Mahe and Lakshadweep.
