He has been put on ventilator support since admitted in hospital because of multi-organ failure. Although some members came forward to donate a kidney for the soldier, doctors affirmed that his health condition was very serious and they declared that if his body responds to the treatment then only will do the treatment.
Hanumanthappa was a soldier of 19 Madras regiment and rescued alive on Monday night after being buried under 35 feet since avalanche buried their camp on February 3rd. after that, he was taken to Delhi on Tuesday in an Air Force Aircraft.
Hanumanthappa was hailed from Koppal in Karnataka and survived by a wife and a daughter. Other bodies of nine soldiers which have been recovered from the site are waiting to the airlifted from Siachen.
