Indian Motorcycles has brought a new player into the Indian market with the launch of the all-new 2016 Indian Springfield.

Named after the birthplace of the brand, the 2016 Indian Springfield is a performance cruiser that will roll out with a price tag of INR 30.6 Lakhs. The official bookings have already commenced and the deliveries will begin from August 2016 onwards.

The motorcycle comes powered by the Thunder Stroke 111 engine, and delivers a torque of 138.9Nm @ 2600 rpm. Its unique new chassis was designed to handle a wide load range, featuring cartridge forks and an air adjustable rear shock with 11.43cm of travel for safely transporting up to 241.7Kg.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd expressed that the Indian Springfield offers a good mix of touring comfort and urban versatility through its blend of classic styling and comprehensive modern technology.
