Internet-Connected Car is unveiled by the Chinese E-commerce online sales company Alibaba Group named as OS’Car RX5.
Alibaba Group announces its first Internet-enabled car which is developed in collaboration with SAIC Motor Corp. This is the first Yun OS enabled internet car and named as OS’Car RX5. Alibaba Yun OS is a smart operating system specially designed for cars and developed as a part of Alibaba’s Internet of Things (IoT) strategy.

Chairman of Technology Steering Committee of Alibaba Group, Dr. Wang Jian has stated that the introduction of OS’Car RX5 is a significant milestone in the automobile industry.
An intelligent map, location tracking without WiFi or GPS and automatic change in map zoom size based on the car speed are the some of the special features of the car. The car can be driven with the help of voice commands too. The latest OS can save the preferences of the driver while driving. It can recognize the driver and make the internet services and preferred music and destinations personalize.
