Chennai: Pugazh Movie, an upcoming Tamil movie starring Jai and Surabhi completes all censor board formalities. Directed by Manimaran and to be released on 4th December 2015.
Actor Jai never had any release for some long time. Most of his releases are facing barricades. But finally his most expected Pugazh movie is gearing up for a release by month of December. The producer already confirmed the news.
‘Velai Illa Pattathaari”, ‘Ivan Vera Maathiri’ fame Surabhi is pairing with Jai. The duo of Vivek & Merwin has scored music after ‘Vadacurry’. ‘Udhayam NH4’ fame Mani maran makes his second directorial release. Sushant Prasad of Film Department has funded the project. Varun Manian’s Radiance Media has the distribution rights.
Karunaas, Director Marimuthu, Lyric Writer Piraisoodan, R.J.Balaji are part of the supporting cast. The makers are planning to release the movie on December 4th and as the official date is revealed, they are planning to complete the censor formalities.
The movie visited censors yesterday and the censor board officials granted the movie a clean ‘U’ without any cuts. The entire team is happy with the response from the censor board.
