Jeep Compass And Patriot Replacement Introduced

Jeep announces the introduction of a new C-segment SUV in Brazil. It will replace the existing Compass and Patriot. This crossover was shown at the New York Auto Show.

Mike Manely, the company boss has confirmed that the Jeep’s new model will not retain either Patriot or the Compass nameplate. The compact design of the Jeep’s Patriot and Compass new SUV will be launched in Brazil.

The new model will be built in complete metal for the first time. This vehicle will be seen at the Sao Paulo Motor Show 2016 which will be held on November 8th, 2016 and also at Los Angeles Motor Show 2016 held on Nove 23rd, 2016.

Though the specifications and the features are not known officially, the automobile sources expect the vehicle to come with a 2.4 litre and 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engines. The vehicle is expected to have a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed automatic optional variant. This new model is ranged in between Cherokee and Renegade. The engine specifications might underpin the Renegade whereas the style and the front look may be a copy of Cherokee.

The model will be on sale from the year 2017 as the with the tag of Vehicle model 2018. Some of the expected features include :
