Chennai: Jiiva and Haniska’s upcoming romantic comedy directed by Ramprakash is reportedly titled as Pokkiri Raja (expected), hoping that movie will be released by end of this year.
Kollywood young and energetic romantic actor Jiiva is very much selective and choosy while finalising scripts, according to latest information the actor joining hands with director Ram Parakash Rayappa for his next film. Reportedly beautiful Hansika Motwani will play the female lead role in this.
According to source, Jiiva’s next romantic comedy along with Hansika Motwani reportedly titled as Pokkiri Raja. Interestingly it is the title of super star Rajinikanth blockbuster movie which was released in 1982 directed by S P Muthuraman.
Actors are showing interest to choose their movie title from old blockbuster movies, Vishal starrer Paayum Puli and Jayam Ravi starrer Sakalakala Vallavan which borrowed titled from old blockbusters. If every thig goes well, Jiiva’s next romantic comedy will also join in this league.
The movie is being produced by one of the producer of magnanimous epic fantasy thriller Puli, P T Selvakumar. As per information the film has started the regular shooting from September 2nd in the outskirts of Chennai. Music for this romantic comedy has been scored by Harris Jayaraj.
The actor Jiiva has recently completed the shooting for Thirunnal movie opposite to Nayanthara, as per sources the actor reportedly played a character of Village rowdy in this flick. Another movie of actor Jiiva is Kavalai Vendam directed by Deekay is in the production stage, beautiful Kajal Aggarwal is playing opposite to actor in this.
