Mumbai: Director Kabir Khan spoke to media that how he roped in the Bollywood actor Salman Khan for one of the biggest blockbusters, Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is one of the biggest blockbusters made in Bollywood. The movie was written and directed by Kabir Khan. S.S.Rajamouli’s father K.Vijayendra Prasad penned the script. The movie is all about how a man helps a young mute Pakistani girl to get her home back to make her united with her family.
The movie made some tremendous collections. Regarding pulling in Salman Khan, Director Kabir Khan said, “I used to spend a lot of time with Salman Khan after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. One thing I have realized is he feels strongly about few issues. Especially about how secularism is perceived in India.
I would say Salman is a living example of secularism. When you go to his house, and see the way he lives with his family, you’ll realise that there cannot be a more secular person than him.
He is a Super Star and when he speaks there are billions of people to hear his words. That is the time I was working on the story of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijjan’ and I feel that he would be the right person.”
