Chennai: Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is teaming up with sensational director Gautham Menon after a decade with a sequel of hit film Seevalaperi Pandi.

Universal hero Kamal Haasan is back to success by delivering back to back hits like Thoongaavanam and Uttama Villain. His recent flick Thoongaavanam did a tremendous business at box office and received positive response from critics. The film has been directed by Rajesh M. Silva and managed to collect Rs. 14 Crore up to first weekend.

In overseas also the film has done excellent business and grabs Rs. 2.8 Cr in overseas. Now, latest news was rounding on social media about Kamal’s next flick. According to reports, Papanasam actor will be teaming up with creative director Gautham Menon for his next film. Both will join hands for a sequel film ‘Seevalaperi Pandi’ which is super hit film. However, officially it has not yet confirmed now.

The prequel was directed by Prathap K. Pothan and had Napoleon as the lead. Reportedly, its producer P. G. Srikanth is planning sequel and will appoint Gautham Menon as director and will rope in Kamal Haasan for the lead role. If the reports turn out to be true then the duo will collaborate almost after a decade. They last worked together in ‘Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu’ in the year 2006. Definitely this is good news for all Kamal fans.
