Chennai, July 2: Kamal Haasan’s upcoming Tamil and Telugu thriller Thoongaavanam movie is likely to finish its shooting by this month end. Telugu version name – Cheekati Rajyam.

Universal actor Kamal Haasan’s upcoming Tamil-Telugu thriller Thoongaavanam, which is an official remake of French film ‘Nuit Blanche’ aka ‘Sleepless Night’ is likely to finish its shooting probably by this month end. Movie team is currently busy with shooting in a specially created set on East Coast Road in Chennai.

As per sources the movie has completed its half shooting, and the film should be wrapped up by next month. A racy thriller is said to describe in a single night in a bar. Veteran actor Kamal Haasan plays a policeman role, and film is also features Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini, Samoath Raj, Kishore and Asha Sharath in main roles.

The movie is being directed by Kamal’s long-time associate Rajesh M Selva and the film simultaneously being made in Telugu as Cheekati Rajyam and it also being produced by Kamal itself. As per French movie Sleepless Night, shares a story about how a policeman has to save his son and his own reputation in a single night.
