Cheekati Rajyam Movie Review
“Cheekati Rajyam” which is written and acted by Kamal Hassan has been dubbed from Tamil Movie “Thoongavanam” which was adapted from 2011 French film “Sleepless Night”. This does not quite fall in suspense category; however it is a strong action drama which is going to be strong with the help of the seat screenplay.
In this movie, Kamal (Divakar) and Yugi Sethu (Mani) posed as Narcotic bureau officers who were involved in the disordered crime scene. The main goal of them was to rob and remove cocaine. While it was going on Kamal Haasan’s son was abducted by Prakash Raj who was running the nightclub, what happened next and how the life of Kamal’s going after that incident is the next thing.
The entire movie is taken in a huge nightclub and some incidents happened there, Kamal trying to unravel all the incidents in a single night. He was trying there to better out from drug warlord Prakash Raj and cops. Kishore and Trisha also were trying this from another side. Waste time is not in this film at the time of funny elements and frame has been the shuttle between varieties of parts of the night club.
The director gave many twists and turns in this movie because of that the screenplay was extremely sharp and sometimes few incidents are predictable but not possible and it giving an interesting scope. Father didn’t have much time because of his busy schedule to spend with his son so that it was turned to cursing fate to his life. Compare to all angles it is getting positive talk and good rating also.
