Mumbai: Karisma Kapoor’s daughter Samaira made a short film and it is screened at the 19th International Children’s Film Festival of India (ICFFI) on November 15 in Hyderabad.

It is always great for parents to know when their Children are outsmarting them. Even a slightest reach by them will make the parents proud. In this case, Karisma Kapoor’s 10 year old daughter Samaira has made her mother proud. Samira has acted in the short film ‘Be Happy’.

The short film already got several awards and accolades. Recently it was screened at the 19th International Children’s Film Festival of India (ICFFI) on November 15th in Hyderabad. The movie was selected for the festival under the category ‘Little Directors’.

Samaira also showed her acting skills in the short film. Apart from acting she involved in technical works such as cinematographer, scripting and editing. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim and Shekhar Kapur’s daughter Kaveri Kapur are also a part of the creative team of the film, which was made two years ago.

Regarding this Karisma said, “This festival is something a great opportunity for young kids and I am happy that my daughter is a part of something like this. The short film had a beautiful moral. Be Happy with what you have.”
