Karnataka PU board plus two results 2017 declared. PU Board II supplementary examinations scheduled from 28th June and students can apply online before 23rd may.

Hello young stars of Karnataka. The Karnataka pre university results were announced on Thursday. It is apparent that students have not taken the exam seriously. The pass percentage has deteriorated. Only 52.38% students have passed the PU board II examinations. Last year the pass percentage is 57.20%. Over past six years never did the state experience such result. The government called it true result because the exams were conducted in a strict manner. Girls topped in most of the streams. Srinidhi PG from benguluru and sai samparth from Dakshina Kannada topped in commerce stream securing 595 marks. Srujana N from Mangalore and M.Radhika Pai from Udipi scored 596 marks in science stream. Chitra from Ballari scored 589 in arts and Charitha Ajay Nayak from Bangalore stood sin second position by securing 583 marks. Tanveer Sait, primary and secondary education minister said that the government declared the results without time lapse to restrain colleges from advertising and grabbing more admissions. The poor performance of the students is because of Karnataka secure examination system. He added that the examination has become a litmus test for the government. This time we are ready for the true result. The Karnataka PU plus two results is very authentic this time.

PU board plus two district wise results:

Udipi topped with 90.01%, north Bangalore with 67.17%, south Bangalore with 63.63%. The Bangalore north stood in seventh place and Bangalore south stood in eighth place. Nearly 132 PU colleges recorded zero pass percentage. The arts stream recorded lowest pass percentage of 35.05%, science stream with 60.71% and commerce stream with 60.09%.

As the exams are conducted in a strict manner the pass percentage is very less. Students need not worry about the results. Because there are supplementary examinations coming soon. This time the candidates have to prove their calibre and fair in the exams. Nothing is impossible. You can achieve anything and everything. Sky is the only limit for you.

The PU board supplementary examinations will be held from 28th June 2017. The candidates have to apply for the PU board II supplementary examinations before 23rd may 2017. The overall pass percentage in second year PU board examinations 2017 is 52.38%. Girls performed well than boys. The girls pass percentage is 60.28% whereas boys pass percentage is 44.74%.the number of students debarred decreased from 74 to 48 which is a good sign. Udipi, South and North Canara stood in first three places. 355697 students from 684490 appeared for the exams have qualified the exams. The pass percentage in urban areas is slightly more than rural areas .It is 52.88% in urban areas and 50.72% in rural areas. One student each from unaided and bifurcated colleges has qualified in the exam. Three government PU colleges recorded zero pass percentage. Last year 91 colleges recorded zero pass percentage and un- aided colleges topped zero pass percentage. 88 colleges are present in the list.
