KCET 2016 New Dates Released – Exam to be held on May 4 & 5

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the new exam dates for KCET 2016. The KCET 2016 New Dates has been released at the official website which is given below.

KEA has rescheduled the dates for Common Entrance Test (CET). The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is scheduled to be held on May 4 and May 5, 2016 at various exam centers across the State.  Earlier the test is scheduled to be conducted on May 1 and 2, but due to clashing for AIPMT on the same date the KCET is postponed. The new dates of exam are officially declared now.

The KCET is a state level common entrance test. The test is conducted to provide admission to various undergraduate (UG) professional programs at government and private institutes in the state of Karnataka. CET provides admissions to Engineering, B.Sc Agriculture, Sericulture, Forestry, Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturapathy and Yoga, Horticulture, B-Pharma and D-Pharma course.

KCET 2016 New Dates

The schedule for the test is as follows:

May 4, 2016:  On this day, the test for Biology and Mathematics will take place. The test will be held from 10.30 am and 2.30 pm respectively for duration of one hour and 20 minutes, each.

May 5, 2016: On this day, the test for Physics and Chemistry will take place.  The test will be held from 10.30 and 2.30 pm for duration of one hour and 20 minutes, each.

May 6, 2016: The Kannada examination for Horanadu and Gadinadu students will be held.
